How to Make People Trust Your Offer?

Today, we’ll discuss about why Being seen is so much important for influencer-type brands.

Let me tell you a story:

There were like faces of 30 people that were shown to 50 people 100 times in a very different order.

All of these faces were shown randomly to people and all of these faces were unknown to the people on whom the test was being conducted.

These people were unaware of the fact that a test was being conducted upon them.

Let’s suppose a person has gone to have some coffee, the experimenters made a situation where they made the other person sit randomly in the cafe so that the people (n whom the experiment was conducted) see them.

Just like this, if the person went to the library, they made the person come again in front of them.

Thus, for people, it was made quite random and the faces were brought in front of them on a repeated basis.

After this, these people were called and asked to pick the most trustworthy faces among those 50 faces without even having any knowledge about them.

Those people selected those faces which were brought in front of them on a repeated basis and ultimately those faces came out to be a winner.

This means Familiarity is equal to trust.

So, if you have an influencer-type product, it becomes very important for you to be visible on a repeated basis.

You can come in front of people in the form of :

  • Ads
  • Videos
  • Shoutouts
  • Articles
  • Post
  • Collaborations
  • So many other things

But is necessary for you to be visible again and again in front of your prospect.

The more you are visible to your audience, the more trust you generate in a long run and this is going to help you sell your products more.

This does not apply to the products which are not sold with the help of influencer branding but again the principle remains the same.

The brands need to show up again and again. Let’s take an example of this:

Coke is not mad when it runs advertisements in newspapers, on televisions, sponsoring IPLs & other championships, Football leagues, investing in Billboards, running ads on Facebook and Youtube, etc.

It also knows that no one will drink cokes in winters but they know that whenever a person would want to drink a cold drink, their brand should be the first name that should come into people’s minds.

And this is why companies keep running ads on a consistent basis.

The simple message is Familiarity equals trust.

So, use this principle in your marketing and you’ll see your sales going up!
