4 traits of Being Successful
I keep sharing marketing tools, hacks, and resources but all of them are secondary. The most important thing is how you are as a person.
Are you having those traits of being a successful person or not and if that is not the case then no marketing tool, hack or resource or anything is not going to work out in your favor because you don’t have the traits of becoming a successful person.
The first and the most important thing is if you are having those traits because only then do the other things come into the picture.
Without being attached to ranks let’s jump to the traits:
The number one trait would be never giving up!
Throughout your online business or marketing journey, you’re going to keep on failing on a regular basis. You’ll try out new stuff and you’ll fail again.
There will be many times when you won’t be getting the ideal results that you are expecting from your campaigns. Of course, there will be some campaigns where you would hit a jackpot but in the 80–90% expectations, they won’t be working as per your expectations.
So the most important thing is that you don’t give up.
There are so many successful people, like Michael Jordan who said this quotation-
“I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
It doesn’t matter how many times you are failing, what matters is that “how many times you’re trying?”
The more you try, the more probabilities of failures will appear but at the same time, you’ll be more successful.

Doesn’t matter if the winning percentage of one person is higher, let’s say he tried 10 things and 5 things worked out for him but the fact is, the second person tried 100 things, and even if only 20 things worked out for him, it is something that matters more.
The second trait is consistency!
You have to show up every time and every single day.
What people do is that if one of their days went well, then they tend to relax for the next 7days, or 10 days, or 15 days, doing parties and stuff.
That doesn’t work at all. You have to work every single day.
Even if your day went bad, even then you have to show up the next day.
So consistency is the most important thing. You have to consistently show up.
I’m not against the fact that you need to relax from time to time maybe go on a vacation from time to time or something like that but if you keep on celebrating every single victory or you keep on being sad about every single loss, that is going to be a problem.
You have to show up every single day in front of your laptop and put in the work every single day because it is something that is important.
The third trait, I would say is curiosity.
Especially in the online marketing world because in the online marketing world, the dynamics keep changing really fast.
Facebook comes up with new updates after every few months, Instagram changes its algorithms and new social apps come up every single day.
The fact is things are changing so quickly and they are so dynamic and therefore, you have to be curious enough that you’re willing to try out and work upon new things.
You need to try and test the new updates and all these things are going to give you the edge.
Your curiosity of finding out the answers to things and googling out things makes you win. For every single problem, there is a solution that is available for sure. But you have to research hard!
I remember when we had a product launch and we were creating software and we couldn’t find any solution for that product and after searching for so many blogs on google, we found the solution in a blog that was written in the 1990s.
But the fact is, we kept on googling and visiting forums after forums and blogs after blogs, which is the reason why we were able to find our answers. We never gave up and we had that curiosity and we were willing to find out the answers at any cost.
Your every problem has an answer, you need to search hard.
Ultimately this particular habit of googling things like “how to XYZ” is something that is most important for an entrepreneur.
If you keep on doing the stuff that you already know, you’ll get similar results but when you do searches like this, you are trying out something new and doing something new.
Because of this, you’ll automatically learn something new, you’ll implement something new, and you’ll get new results. So this is one of the habits that you need to inculcate.
Just by doing these three things, you would be far more ahead of anyone on the planet and you keep on doing stuff.
Also, there are a couple of things that have always worked for me and I want to share that too.
Work in the no distraction zone.
While I’m working, my mobile is always turned off, my social media notification is always turned off and I don’t watch news channels and stuff. There is a lot of negativity out there and I don’t find anything fruitful.
No news, simply because there is nothing good that is being promoted on the news channels. At the same time, if you know their agenda and understand the fact that their shows are based on TRPs, you’re deliberately shown negative things that are happening around you, you would probably stop watching them as well.
Also. even if something is going around the world that is not within my limitations and they’re not under my control, what’s the matter even if I get to know about them.
That’s the reason, I stay in my own zone and my own world where my thoughts are so powerful than anything else and I can keep on focusing on my work without being distracted.
So this is something that works for me.
These are the few habits, I hope you start implementing them and inculcating them and that’s definitely going to give you good results.
