And today, I am going to talk about networking, the #1 thing that’s gonna take you ahead in your life and your business.
You know what, there’s no stage that you need to get to start networking.
If you are a newbie or an expert, or you are already at the topmost level, whatever stage you are in; in every stage, it is the networking that is gonna help you achieve the next stage.
If I tell you about myself, networking is something that has helped me a lot.
My first product launch happened because of networking. In my first product launch, I was able to get some affiliates because of networking.
Even till the last launch, a month before the launch of AdsCrisp, I went to the Bangkok event to deliver a speech and I networked with a lot of people, and I was able to acquire a lot of affiliates over there.
We have been to 1–2 events in the U.S. as well, and we did network there as well. There we met a Spanish affiliate, Eric Collin and after coming back he did a promo for one of our products which generated more than $50,000.
After that, he did a promo for us in the MarketPresso launch, and he single-handedly did more than $60,000 sales just for us in that particular launch within 7 days.
So, you know, networking is something which helps a lot.
The Launch of MarketPresso was done by partnering with Karthik. I met Karthik just because of networking because he had come to Delhi and I went over there.
Before that, I launched AdsCrisp partnering with Reshu and Simran.
We met Simran, again because of networking.
We went to meet Simran just to meet her. We did not have any other plans, no other meetings, no other business purpose.
But, we both were in the same trade, and that’s why we met. We met in Chandigarh, and we had a good time together.
So at every single stage, your networking is gonna take you further in your life.
The most important thing is that you need to figure out ways in which you can remain in the company of the kind of people like whom you want to be and the kind of people that you know who are doing good.
Because somewhere or the other, you will definitely get to learn something new or see something new.
You might learn work ethics, you might understand their systems, anything. Something would click, even if they are from a different industry.
You will learn something that they do with respect to their business, or something that they do with respect to hiring, or tax, or with respect to taking the partnership forward.
So many things can happen.
The type of networking that you are doing is so very critical to your company.
Every single time you get an opportunity to do networking, do it, grab it with both hands.
Do it ASAP all the time.
If you get an opportunity to attend an event, go to a mastermind, any meet-up is happening, anything that you come across, make sure that you go there.
Networking is supercritical.
Otherwise, you create opportunities by yourself so that you can do networking.
